Wow what a busy summer!! Exhibited with The Art Crowd in York! (see photo below!)
Did you call in and see us!? We had a fantastic week, lots of new contacts, followers and enquiries for future classes and workshops!
We met so many interesting people and enjoyed the City for a fortnight!
It brought back memories of my student days in York, though this time I spent no time in the pub and lots more time in cafes!!
Met up with old art college friends, who are doing amazing things #Yorkvandals it was so good to meet up and hear what they are doing! Very inspiring and it generated lots of new ideas!
Throughout this Summer I painted in fields and hedgerows mostly around Northallerton, Romanby, Richmond, Thirsk and Masham but found Autumn muscling in before Summer was fully bloomed. The blackberries were ahead of time, scattered like jewels amongst a backdrop of the vivid, luscious summer greens, the pinks of willowherb and sunshine of buttercups.
My mural at An exhibition of work by The Art Crowd in York.
I think I need to do more like this! What do you think?

I must admit I am looking forward to cooler days and warmer colours! I always love seeing the bright russett golds, explosions of yellows and the burnt oranges clashing with the last greens of Summer.
I have decided the mural must become a calendar and have added imagery from my ventures painting in different locations around our local area.
Would you like a peek at the imagery for some of the months before it goes to print?
