How have you helped nature this week?

Last night I saved a hedgehog from being squished! he ran out in front of my car so I stopped traffic to pick him up and placed him in the footwell of my car! He was very happy to tuck into some cat food in our kitchen! I took a few photos but I'm not sure how good they are, as my camera is on my old, old phone!!

He seemed as though he had just awoke from his winter sleep; too early to be out hunting for slugs!

This is the 4th hedgehog I have saved from the roads in a year so I'm calling myself the hedgehow whisperer! He toddled off down the garden and I'm hoping all 4 are happily living under my shed! We do back onto some allotments but they are a bit too fond of the bigger sized strimmers so I hope thy stay in out garden and only pop out to the allotments to much on slugs.

I'm not sure my photos are good enough to work from and I prefer working from life, so I will see if he is about and fancies doing some modelling!
