Masham Sheep Fair! Were you there? Have you been?

What a great day out!! I chatted with people form Leeds, Skipton, Brighton, London, York, Cambridge and The States! They all make a yearly trip to Masham for the Sheep Fair!

I was in Joneva painting sweeties! They stock so many different kinds of sweets, gifts, cheese and also gorgeous ice cream which people couldn't get enough of! I had the rhubarb and custard it was so tasty!

One customer said how much it had changed in there since was here last year! She said she loved the new signage and feel of the shop! she really liked my big ice cream mural that is on the wall behind the counter.

I was donating my artworks for The Yorkshire Air Ambulance in a prize draw! We had a lot of interest and some lovely conversations!

My works were 3 paintings of sweet things. It was great to sit, take it easy and munch on some chocolate covered brazil nuts which I also shared with a man who stopped to chat. He was a glass artist and had spent many years making stained glass windows.

Yorkshire Air Ambulance came along and were very pleased to receive the donation, they will be placing a photograph on their website, which will be so good to see!

It was a brilliant day and I really enjoyed being out and about meeting people and doing something worthwhile. Many, many thanks to Jane sutcliffe of Joneva who was rushed off her feet but still made me lovely filter coffee and also provided me with free ice cream!
